Basket Weave Beanie

This is another one of my favorite patterns, this hat is so much fun to make! I also love that this one is so versatile and it comes in seven sizes, including a large adult size for men! This pattern comes with options for both a small and large basket weave stitch pattern, and also two different options for the brim, one with a ribbon.

This is probably my favorite hat design, and by far my most popular, even though it's still new! :)

New patterns

Well I have been super busy lately, making a ton of items for the next craft show and designing new patterns. I really love designing patterns and you can expect to see a lot more from me in the future. On the new "Patterns" tab above, you can find links to my current patterns that are listed on Ravelry.

Updates

Well it's been a long time since I blogged, time for some updates! I just went to my first craft show last Saturday and overall it was a success. I worked through some obstacles (heavy rain with no tent canopy) and squished all my stuff on to one table when the kind people next door to me let me set up under their tent. Despite the messy display, sales were decent. Here is a photo from that show.

Flower Garden Hat

This was fun to make. :) I used the same pattern as my other flower hats but added "grass" and several flowers all the way around. 100% cotton.

Headband with interchangeable flowers

I liked the hat (see below post) so much I decided to make a headband also. :)

Taryn Hat with interchangeable flowers

I am in LOVE with this hat, I thought I was being really creative when I made it but then I discovered there's a few other people that already had the same idea. Oh well, I still like it! The hat and flowers are both made of 100% cotton and you can change the flower simply by buttoning on a different one! I've made the pattern available in my new Etsy shop too.
