Basket Weave Beanie

This is another one of my favorite patterns, this hat is so much fun to make! I also love that this one is so versatile and it comes in seven sizes, including a large adult size for men! This pattern comes with options for both a small and large basket weave stitch pattern, and also two different options for the brim, one with a ribbon.

Katrina Ribbon Cloche ~ New pattern!

This is probably my favorite hat design, and by far my most popular, even though it's still new! :)

New patterns

Well I have been super busy lately, making a ton of items for the next craft show and designing new patterns. I really love designing patterns and you can expect to see a lot more from me in the future. On the new "Patterns" tab above, you can find links to my current patterns that are listed on Ravelry.

Updates

Well it's been a long time since I blogged, time for some updates! I just went to my first craft show last Saturday and overall it was a success. I worked through some obstacles (heavy rain with no tent canopy) and squished all my stuff on to one table when the kind people next door to me let me set up under their tent. Despite the messy display, sales were decent. Here is a photo from that show.

Flower Garden Hat

This was fun to make. :) I used the same pattern as my other flower hats but added "grass" and several flowers all the way around. 100% cotton.

Pattern is available here: Flower Garden Hat Crochet Pattern

Headband with interchangeable flowers

I liked the hat (see below post) so much I decided to make a headband also. :)

Taryn Hat with interchangeable flowers

I am in LOVE with this hat, I thought I was being really creative when I made it but then I discovered there's a few other people that already had the same idea. Oh well, I still like it! The hat and flowers are both made of 100% cotton and you can change the flower simply by buttoning on a different one! I've made the pattern available in my new Etsy shop too.

Pink and Brown Sock Monkey hat

Here's another Sock Monkey hat, this time in soft ecru, rose pink, and warm brown. 100% cotton yarn. Majority of hat is made with two strands of yarn, so it is very thick. Very warm! Preschooler size.

Pattern inspired by Angelschest (modified quite a bit)

This was an early version of my Petite Mary Janes, pattern has been modified since this pair.

Football Earflap Hat

I've seen a lot of football hats online and decided to see if I could make something similar. I think it turned out pretty cute. :) It's 100% cotton and it should fit a preschooler.

Katrina's scarf

A scarf for my older daughter Katrina. Made with "fun fur" and Caron simply soft acrylic yarn. If you've ever crocheted anything with fun fur you'll know why I named this "the bitch-kitty scarf" while I was working on it. :)

Assorted baby hats

Here are a few more hats...I'm in a hat mood lately, and I love this pattern! The first two are in 100% cotton, in the colors "Ecru" and "Camo". The last one is in an acrylic baby yarn in yellow, with matching booties. All three are infant size.
